A graduate of the School of Translators and Interpreters of Geneva University, Alison has translated nearly a hundred book-length texts (novels, guidebooks, plays, art catalogues) in addition to writing her own fictions. Her translations include works by Muriel Barbery, Amélie Nothomb, Le Clézio, Christian Bobin. 

Née dans le Connecticut, diplômée de l’Ecole de traduction et d’interprétation de l'Université de Genève, Alison Anderson traduit Muriel Barbery, Amélie Nothomb, JMG Le Clézio, Christian Bobin et bien d’autres depuis les rives lémaniques. Elle a publié plusieurs romans (The Summer Guest, Darwin’s Wink, Hidden Latitudes).
